About the Blooming in Midlife Retreat

The Blooming in Midlife Retreat is a specific, standalone offering hosted by Enchanted Wise Women. This retreat is separate and distinct from any other programs, services, or offerings provided by Enchanted Wise Women.

This Cancellation Policy applies exclusively to the Blooming in Midlife Retreat and governs all registrations and bookings associated with this retreat. By registering for the retreat, participants acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

All other services, programs, and offerings provided by Enchanted Wise Women remain subject to the company’s general Privacy Policy, Terms & Conditions, which apply independently of this retreat.

 

A deposit of $500.00 is required to secure your reservation. This deposit may be transferred to a future retreat within 12 months of the original retreat date or fall within the parameters of the cancellation terms outlined below.

The remaining balance is due no later than 30 days prior to the retreat start date. Failure to remit payment by the due date may result in cancellation of your booking and forfeiture of any amounts previously paid.

 

Cancellation by Participant

  • More than 60 days before the start date: The participant will receive either (a) a credit toward a future retreat or (b) a 75% refund of the total amount paid to date.
  • 30–60 days before the start date: The participant is eligible for a 50% refund of the total retreat fee.
  • Less than 30 days before the start date: No refunds will be issued. Credits toward a future retreat may be offered at the sole discretion of the organizer.
  • Transfers: Transfers of a booking to another participant are permitted, subject to prior written approval by the organizer.

 

Retreat Cancellation by Organizer

Enchanted Wise Women reserves the right to cancel the retreat due to insufficient enrollment, facilitator illness, or unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to natural disasters. In such cases, participants will receive either a full refund or a credit toward a future retreat, issued within 14 days of cancellation.

Enchanted Wise Women shall not be held liable for any additional expenses incurred by participants, including but not limited to travel, accommodation, or other related costs.

 

Force Majeure

In the event that the retreat is canceled, delayed, or otherwise impacted due to circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Enchanted Wise Women—including but not limited to weather events, pandemics, government restrictions, or other acts of God—refunds will be issued based on the extent of recoverable funds from third-party providers (including but not limited to venue and catering services).

Participants acknowledge and agree that they are responsible for any travel-related disruptions or costs incurred as a result of such events.

 

Travel Insurance Recommendation

Travel insurance is optional but strongly recommended. Participants are encouraged to obtain “Cancel for Any Reason” (CFAR) coverage to protect against unforeseen personal circumstances that fall outside of the refund terms outlined above.

Travel insurance may also provide coverage for expenses not included in provincial or domestic health plans, such as emergency medical care, ambulance services, or evacuation. A minimum of $100,000 CAD in medical coverage is recommended. Estimated costs typically range from $50–$200.
